Robert "Bob" Bruns, 77, of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12th, 2022. He was born November 1st, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio to the late William "Bill" Bruns and Marybelle Fieder.
He touched many families with his services volunteering for the USA BMX Bicycle Association and throughout the state of Ohio. Bob was recently honored by the city of Kettering with a plaque of recognition at Delco Park for over three decades of dedication to the Kettering BMX Program. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter, passing the tradition down to his sons.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, William "Bill" Bruns Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna Bruns; his sons, Ryan (Christine) Bruns and Andrew (Melinda) Bruns; and grandchildren, Colton, Nash, Nathaniel, Noelle, Chandler, Holden, and Tripp.
Family and Friends may gather on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, from 6:00-8:00PM at Newcomer Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at 1:00pm. Bob's final resting place will be at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek, Ohio.
