Billy Yates

YATES, Billy, age 73, of Fairborn passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008. Billy was born November 29, 1933 in Wise VA., to the late William and Blanche Yates. He served his country in the United States Army and Air Force. Billy retired from the military after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by brother Daryl Yates. Billy is survived by his wife of 51 years 9 months, Shirley Yates; children Suzanne Beverley, and Billy R. Yates Jr.; grandchildren Allen Beverley, Jennifer Beverley, Isaiah Yates, and Jessica Kemen; gratecgrandchild Sisters Charlotte Powers, and Judy Smith; brothers Emory Yates, Eddie Yates, and Steve Yates; and many other friends and relatives. The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 10-11AM at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 11:00AM. Interment will be at The Dayton National Cemetery.
