Billy E. Taylor, 86, of Huber Heights, OH, passed away September 3, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. Billy was born in Kentucky on April 17, 1931 to William and Grace (Hobbs) Taylor and grew up in Rose Hill, VA. He married Betty Eyler on March 3, 1956 in Indiana.
Billy proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for Dayton Walthers as a machinist. He loved to work on automobiles and spent a lot of time caring for his yard.
Billy is survived by wife of 61 years Betty; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Paul and Herbert; and two sisters, Thelma and Wilma.
A private visitation and graveside service will be held, at Billy's request, at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
Memorial contributions are requested to Hospice of Dayton (Ohio's Hospice), 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
