Billy David Rodgers, age 43, of Trotwood, passed away September 23, 2021.
He was born July 29, 1978 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Joseph William and Sandra Lou (Edwards) Weaver.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Harry Smith III and Reggie Rodgers, nephew Harry Moore and great-nephew Brayden Johnson.
Billy is survived by his sister Reva (Marshall) Moore; brother Jess (Denise Bowers) Smith; nieces, Sandra (Thomas) Holmes, Laura Moore, Audrey Moore, Krista Smith, Savannah Smith, Lacey Smith, Kara Bowers; nephews, Jess Smith Jr., Kalep Rodgers, Michael Rodgers; great-nephews, Landan Smith, Joziah Jones; aunt Karen Stringfield, and other relatives and many friends.
Billy never knew a stranger, he had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. He loved listening to music and spending time with family and friends. Billy loved all animals. He will always be remembered for his big personality. Billy was loved by all and will be greatly missed..
Visitation will be held on Thursday September 30, 2021 at newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:00 pm.
