Bishop, Billy R. "Bill", 82, of Vandalia, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his loving girls, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.
He was born August 1, 1934 in Bonny Blue, VA to the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bishop. He was an Army Veteran, proudly serving in the Korean War. Bill was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors. He had a vast knowledge of forest trees and plants. He lived his life his way and was a very, very proud PaPaw.
He is survived by his best friend and partner, Rita D. Bishop; 2 children, Savannah Trefz (Christopher) of Vandalia, Raymond L. Elam, Jr of Northridge; 2 grandchildren Gracie Jo Trefz and Bocephus Elam, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Bill's memory.
