Billy L. Morgan

Billy L. Morgan, 84, of Kettering died at home on 17 January 2020. He was born on 25 November 1935 in Jackson Twp., Highland county, Ohio to Earl and L. Bernice (Woolums) Morgan, the fifth of ten children.
Billy joined the Air Force the year after he graduated high school, and served overseas in Japan and later in Kansas. After he served, he attended Miami-Jacobs where he earned an associate's degree in business. He worked at DESC in Kettering as a computer programmer until his retirement in 1990.
Billy had been married to his wife, Evelyn, who survives him, for 49 years. They had two children, a daughter, Kathleen Morgan, and son, Steven (Lisa) Morgan, both of Kettering, and three grandchildren, Kylie Morgan of Cincinnati; Alexa Morgan of Louisville, Kentucky; and Emma Morgan of Kettering.
He is also survived by two brothers, Delano (Donna) Morgan and Glenn (Carolyn) Morgan of Ohio, and three sisters, Wanda Morgan of Ohio; Joyce (Dick) Brady of Lake Butler, Florida; and Nancy (Junior) Pointer of Ohio, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lloyd, Floyd and Waldo Morgan, and one sister, Helen V. Jones.
Services will be held at Kirkmont Presbyterian Church at 3377 Shakertown Rd. in Beavercreek, Ohio, on 1 Feb 2020, with visitation at 10 a.m. and the service at 11 a.m. Burial of his ashes will be at Ruble Cemetery in Pricetown, Ohio, on 15 Feb 2020 at noon.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of Miami Valley.
