Billy Joe Garrett

Billy Joe Garrett, age 80 of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at . He was born September 27, 1934 in Hilham, Tennessee the son of Lillard and Minnie Garrett. He retired from General Motors after 43 years of service and continued his passion for Art of all kinds.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two wife's, Arlene Sparks and Violet Kerns;a son, Daniel Ferguson; and a brother, Keith Garrett.
Billy is survived by his four children, Leslie Keltner, James Kerns, Joseph Kerns, and Diane Murray; two son-in-laws, James Keltner and Steven Mayberry; and two sisters, Colleen Kennedy and Ruth Kurzawa. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 5, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until time of the service at the funeral home.
