Billy J. Campbell, age 87 of Bellbrook, Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2020. He was born August 28, 1933 in Swan Lake, KY son of the late Charlie and Jessie Campbell.
Billy was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Billy was retired from Monarch Marking Systems as well as from his own business "Campbell Waterproofing". He was a Veteran of the United States Army and the Army National Guard. HQCO 1ST BN 149 Infantry. Billy was a very strong, dedicated working man that loved what he did. When not working, Billy enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Billy had a sweet tooth for his Oatmeal Cream Pies. He is going to be greatly missed by all who knew him. There will never be another Billy Campbell, he was one of a kind.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his siblings, Earl Campbell, Scott Campbell, and Kathleen McKeehan.
Billy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Campbell; children, Tommy Campbell, Renee (Chris)Carlson, Rhonda (Terry) McDonald, and Teresa (Steve) Armstrong; grandchildren, Michael (Samantha) Hypes, Summer Campbell, Savannah Wallace, Hunter Wallace, Holly Carlson, Azlin Armstrong, Kaitlyn Armstrong; great grandchildren, Alex Hypes and Amelia Hypes; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bellbrook Cemetery.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face masks will be worn in all public places.
