Billy Joe Graham, age 77 of Germantown, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1942 in Braeholm, West Virginia, son of the late Namon and Ruie Graham.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a grandson, Jesse Namon Graham and brothers, Roscoe Graham, Winston Graham, Lawrence Graham, and Bob Graham.
Billy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Graham; children, Kathy Jo (Donald Wellmeier) Graham and Billy J. (Kelly) Graham Jr.; grandchildren, Emily Graham and Toby Graham and siblings, Simon (Karolyn) Graham, Darrell (Wanda) Graham, Brenda (Ron) Calloway and Hurst (Estine) Walls; sisters-in-law, Sue Graham and Susie Graham as well as countless family, friends and neighbors.
Billy retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. In addition to his full-time career, he was a skilled taxidermist and owned and operated Graham Fence Service as well as having an entrepreneurial spirit. Billy enjoyed many hobbies in his spare time especially fishing and hunting. He was a member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for 45 years, where he served as a church bus driver most of those years. More recently he joined the Carpenter's House Baptist Church in Germantown and was a devout Christian dedicated to reading his Bible and soul-winning.
Family will receive guests from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home – KETTERING. Services will begin 10:00 am Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Carpenter's House Baptist Church, 93 Worthington Dr., Germantown, OH 45327. Services will conclude with procession to Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton for burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carpenter's House Missionary Fund at the above address.
