Billie Ruth Williams

Billie Ruth Williams, age 73, of Dayton, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on October 17, 2023. She was born on May 21, 1950 to the late Henry and Nina Pugh.

Billie was a warrior for God. She was very active at her church, First Church of the Open Bible, at which she had been a member since 1996. She taught children in Sunday School and also watched them in the nursery during services. She was head of the Prayer Chain until recently, and she was very devout in her faith.

In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her beloved cat and favorite child, Jasper.

Billie will be remembered by her children: Jennifer (Mike) Farrell and Andy Williams; grandchildren: Lincoln, Shawn, Clarissa (Dustin), Drew (Lexi), Mackenzie, Michael, Collin, Kayla, Makaila, Riley, Harper and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Tasha, Bella, Aailyah, Bentley and Tyson; her favorite brother, Tom (Marie) Pugh; her former husband, Darrell Williams; and a host of extended family, friends and her church family..

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hospice of Dayton for the excellent care they provided to Billie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Billie's memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to First Church of the Open Bible.

A Celebration of Life for Billie will begin at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at First Church of the Open Bible. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
