Billie Louise Breiden, passed away on Saturday evening, September 12, 2009, due to a lingering illness at Mercy Siena Nursing Home in Dayton, Ohio where she was a resident for the past year and a half. She was born May 15, 1922 in Dayton, Ohio to William and Agnes (True) Weikel. She was married first to Merrill E. Steinberger, then a second marriage to William K. Breiden, Sr. and they just celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on September 2nd. Billie used to work as a waitress at the Pine Club in Dayton, Ohio. She used to roller skate, rode her own BSA 250 motorcycle, had horses, cats and dogs and loved living out in the country. Most of all she loved her family. Billie is survived by: her husband, William K. Breiden, Sr., one sister, Phyllis (Fred) Kuck, 2 daughters, Virginia )Richard) Hackworth, of Huber Heights and Sherry Steinberger Osborne, of Dayton and 1 son, Steven Merrill Steinberger (Cynthia) of Lewisburg, 3 step-sons, William Keith Breiden, Jr., (Carol, of Tucson, AZ, Kenneth Jack Breiden, (Marty) of Naples, FL, Bruce Breiden (Jan), of Davie, FL. 21 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Friday, September 18, 2009 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, Ohio 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery. Donations may be made in Billie's memory to Hospice of Dayton or SICSA (The Society For The Improvement Of Conditions For Stray Animals).
