Billie Jean Stamper
Age 78, of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011, at The Hospice of Dayton.
Billie was preceded by her partner of many years, John Medlin; the father of her children, James Stamper; one brother, Robert Brooks; son, Timothy Stamper; one daughter, Patricia Stamper; and by one grandson, Tommy Morelock.
Billie is survived by six children, Delores Gail (Vince) Skaggs, Vanessa (Tommy) Morelock, Betty (Darrell) Millard, William Joseph (Jeri) Stamper, James Stamper & Carol Stamper; eleven grandchildren, Stacy Crase, Vince (Janet) Skaggs, Danny (Tiffany) Skaggs, Gregory (Cheli) Crase, Timothy (Tammy) Crase, Sissy Morelock, James Morelock, Bobby (Sam) Williams, Nazaray (Wayne) Vance, Joey Stamper & Caleb Stamper; 25 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and by her extended family & many good friends.
Billie was a lifetime member of the Ft. Myers, Florida VFW # 1097 Ladies Auxiliary and she was a member of the Dayton VFW # 9936 Ladies Auxiliary.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
