Billie J. Leffew, age 84 of Huber Heights, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was born in White Plains, KY on November 11, 1928 to Irvin and Mary Pearson. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Louise Blanton.
Billie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ralph Leffew; 1 daughter, Glory (Dewey) Meade; 1 son, Derek of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jason and Christie; and 10 great grandchildren: Lilly, Ava, Owen, Kiersten, Mason, Aiden, Isabella, Cassie, Kiera and Shaelyn.
The family would like to thank the staff at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center for their loving and compassionate care, she had many special friends there. The last 3 days of her life was made very peaceful by the staff of Vitas Hospice.
Gravesite services to be held at Willow View Cemetery, 2500 Neff Road, Dayton, on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 3:30 pm. Reverend Jerry Robbins officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
