Bowman, Billie M., age 79, of Dayton, passed away November 6, 2017.
She was born August 6, 1938 in Rickman, Tennessee to the late Albert Escoe and Leva H. (Norrod) Hammons. Billie attended Stivers High School in Dayton and she married Claudie Bowman in 1954. Billie owned the Galaxy Tee Shirt Shop in Eastown Shopping Center in Dayton, and was also a Home Healthcare Provider.
She was very dedicated to her family and was a loving, caring person to all she knew, totally devoted to her grandchildren, always wanting more time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claudie , oldest son, Michael Bowman, and her brother, James Hammons.
Billie is survived by her children, Jeff (Laura) Bowman, Kim (Bill) Kessler, Terri (Rob) Sharrock; five grandchildren, Zachary, Aimee and Mikyle Kessler, Ally and Corey Sharrock; her beloved brother, Frank Hammons; her sister-in-law, Betty Hammons; and her special friends, Norma, Paul, Richard, and Evonne.
