Billie Ray Baker, age 84 of Beavercreek, OH, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 25, 1933 in Leslie County, Kentucky to Henry and Edna (Roberts) Baker. Billie married E. Gaynelle Wilson on August 3, 1957 in Dayton, OH.
Billie Ray loved to garden and was making plans for his garden this year with his neighbor. He was very devoted to his church, Bethel Christian Assembly, and read and studied the bible daily. He loved God and his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Billie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, E. Gaynelle; a son, Stephen R. (Sheila) Baker; one granddaughter, Mollie L. Baker; a brother, Melvin (Fern) Baker; three sisters, Emma Morgan, June (Claude) Crum and Lorene (Conrad) Garrison; and other numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Meta Renee Baker; two brothers, Harold and Douglas Baker; and a sister, Lillian Ruth Baker.
A visitation will be held on April 9, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral services will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia, OH.
