Bill H. Tuttle, age 91, passed away September 26, 2022, at home with his family. He was born on Silver Ridge in Meigs County, Ohio, to Verl and Binice Tuttle. He graduated from Gallia Academy High School in Gallipolis, Ohio.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Faye. They were blessed with 72 years of marriage and four children; daughters, Sharon (Stu) Shuler, Karen (Jarry) Eaton, Elizabeth (Mark) Denny and son, William (Melody) Tuttle. The grandchildren; Ross Eaton, Todd (Andria) Eaton, Katherine (Jon) Kohn, Emily (Kyle) McCleary and great grandsons; Peter and Thomas Kohn, as well as many nieces and nephews. Our cherished chosen family includes; Ruth & Ken Schumacher, Trevor (Alice) Schumacher, Devon (Jeff) Begley, Alex (Shona) Robertson, Laura Schumacher, Rylan, Anya, and Juliet Begley, and Will Robertson.
Bill was the youngest of 5 children. He is predeceased by sisters, Oneita Cole, Jaunita Guthrie, Eleanor Douglas, and brother, Bobby R. Tuttle.
Bill served 5 years in the US Air Force and worked as an Air Traffic Controller while in the military, later for the Federal Aviation Administrator at Dayton Approach Control and Tower at Dayton Airport.
He loved the Cincinnati Reds, OSU Buckeyes and the Bengals, in their good and less-than-good seasons.
