Bill R. Ball

Bill R. Ball,age 67, of Dayton passed away Friday, April 11, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. Bill was born December 8, 1940 in Ages, KY. to the late Logan and Nannie Ball. Bill is survived by his wife of 45 years Geneva, son Robert Scott Ball, Granddaughters Marissa Ball, and Lacey Turner, brothers Preston (Doshie), Joe (Cheryl), and Bobby (Chris) all of Dayton, sisters Virginia (Bonnie) Fuson of Dayton, Marcella Smith of Harlan KY., Barbara (Robert) Bailey Morristown TN., and numerous other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by son Bill Jr., brother Marvin, sister Evelyn mother and father-in-law Hester and Erskin Phillips. Bill was a long time self-employed mechanic in Dayton. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the funeral Home with Rev. David Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens (170 N. Valley Rd. Xenia).
