Bill Norvell

Bill Norvell, age 83 of Dayton, OH went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born December 13, 1940 in Dayton, OH to the late Robert and Alice Norvell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-mother, Betty Denny and step-father Ned Denny and two brothers, Wayne Norvell and Larry Taylor.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Faye Norvell; two children, Keith (Susan) Norvell and Jennifer Norvell; two twin granddaughters, Allison and Sarah Fisher; four siblings, Robert (Dyann) Norvell, Linda (Clarence) Singleton, Thomas (Rhonda) Norvell, and Sharon (Bill) Fillers; and sister-in-law, Lavonn Norvell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Bill was devoted to his faith and a proud Navy veteran. He was employed by and later retired from Laserplane/Spectra Physics/Trimble Navigation. He also volunteered at the Cardiac Cath Lab at Miami Valley Hospital and palliative care services including veteran pinning. Bill enjoyed playing drums at church and listening to music. The most important thing to Bill was spending quality time with his wife, Faye and his family.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Liberty Life Church (1183 Upper Bellbrook Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385). Funeral Service will be officiated at 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Liberty Life Church (1183 Upper Bellbrook Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385). Bill will be laid to rest at Centerville Cemetery (68 Maple Ave, Centerville, OH 45459).
