Bill Flynn

Billie B. Flynn, age 59 of Wilmington, passed away September 14, 2011. He was born February 17, 1952 in Dayton to the late Bill and Marcella Flynn. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his half brothers: Thomas and Albert Messmear; and daughter, Rhonda Gail Flynn.

Bill is survived by his wife, Fay Flynn; children: Bill (Bonnie) Flynn, III, Sharon Guerrero and Brad Lewis; step-children: Michael and Floyd Lewis; numerous grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Jurlene) Flynn; sisters: Gladys (Pete) Wilson and Pamela Flynn; special uncle, Jim Flynn; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Bill was a member of the Lighthouse Apostolic Church; worked at R & L Carriers; and was a truck driver for most of his life. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved Jesus Christ and will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2011. Pastor Bradley Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
