Bill Ray Bush

Bill Ray Bush, age 84 of Dayton, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on July 1, 2019. He was born in Breathitt, KY to the late Clara and Chester Bush. After moving to Dayton, Bill went to work for Dayton Legal Blank Book Binding. He diligently worked as a paper cutter for 44 years until his retirement. Bill was married to Eva Nancy Bush (Reffit) until her passing in 1995.

Bill was a caring, compassionate, and loyal father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. Bill never knew a stranger and was always willing to help a friend in need. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife Eva Nancy Bush; son, Robert A. Bush; step-son, Edward "Eddie" Callihan; sister, Ruby Shepherd; and brother, JD Bush.

Bill leaves to cherish his memory, loving children, David W. Bush, Amy Nicole Bush; step-children, Paula Crain, Billy Callihan, and Penny Callihan-Boyd; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; his loyal canine companion, Princess; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2pm at Newcomer North Chapel. Visitation for one hour prior (1pm - 2pm). Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
