William "Bill" L. Brock, age 70, of Franklin, OH passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Bill was born on November 7, 1948 in Frankfort, KY. He was the son of Leslie and Phyllis (Henderson) Brock. Bill went on to marry the love of his life, Linda Coffey, in Franklin, OH on June 21, 1969. Earlier this year Bill and Linda celebrated their Golden Anniversary.
During his working life, Bill worked as a Machine Adjuster for Kimberly Clark and later JBM Envelope Company. Bill retired after over 35 years of service. He was the founder and president of Ohio Valley Cruisers Club. He was the proud owner of a beautifully restored lime green classic 1953 Chevrolet Belair. Bill was an active member of The Sons of American Legion, AmVets and a former board member of BLR Resort. With all of his hobbies and past-times, nothing brought him more joy than his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
along with his wife, Linda, of 50 years, Bill shares a living legacy consisting of his 3 loving children, son, Bryan (Amanda) Brock of Franklin; daughters, Billie Jo Brock of Franklin and Barbara "Baubi" (Charles, Jr.) Agnor of Franklin; sister, Mary Sue Collinsworth of Middletown; granddaughters, Logan Jobe, Cara and Grace Agnor, and McKenna and Hailey Brock; grandson, Bentley Brock; and several extended family members and close friends.
Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Lily Ann Pate and Cathy Perry; and brother, Ronnie Brock.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, Dayton, OH 45459. A Celebration of Life event will be held for Bill on Sunday, October 6, 2019, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the American Legion Post 149, Franklin, OH.
Cremation will take place on a later date in the Newcomer Crematory.
