To know Bev was to love her and feel loved by her. She passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at Hospice of Dayton on March 8, 2025 at the age of 68 after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer.
Beverly was born October 1, 1956 to William and Darleen Wright in Dayton, Ohio. Although they attended Walter E. Stebbins High School together, she met the love of her life, Danny, while vacationing in Florida on spring break her junior year. Bev and Danny married on October 16, 1976 and enjoyed 48 beautiful years of marriage, and had two daughters, Brooke and Lindsey, whom Bev was incredibly proud of.
Bev knew no strangers. Her selfless, inclusive and welcoming nature and natural magnetism drew people in and made everyone who had the opportunity to know her, feel special and loved. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and give her undivided attention to anyone who needed it. Her love for her family and friends was second to none and she was unconditionally supportive and actively involved in all of their lives. One of her greatest joys in life was being a Ma to her three grandchildren, Gavin, Olivia and Palmer. Bev also had an exceptional relationship with her daughters. The three were the best of friends and Bev was often mistaken for the third sister.
She made many lifelong friends during her 45 years in the dental field, finally retiring in 2020.
She loved planting flowers and bird watching in her pristine yard, especially the hummingbirds and cardinals. Bev loved to entertain at her home and had a knack for hosting and decorating the most elegant parties. Every event had a theme and was coordinated down to the littlest detail making each one uniquely memorable. Everything she touched felt special and magical.
Bev was sunshine in human form. You would never find her without a big, beautiful smile on her face and her light and extraordinary beauty radiated from the inside out.
Bev was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Palmer and parents Bill and Darleen Wright. She is survived by her two daughters and son-in-laws, Brooke (Lee) Jones and Lindsey (Ryan) Temple.; three grandchildren, Gavin Temple, Olivia Temple and Palmer Jones; sister and brother-in-law Connie (Eric) Jensen; "sister" and "brother-in-law", Carolyn (Ed) Wojcik; brother-in-law and sister-in law, Randy (Jenny) Palmer; sister-in-law and brother-in law, Donna (Jim) Bardon; nieces and nephews, Pam (Jon) Pirk, Bill (Julia) Jensen, Kate (Kristen) Wojcik, Adrienne Palmer, Madeline Palmer and Mary Bardon; extended family and innumerable friends of whom she considered family.
