Beverly M. Weng

WENG, Beverly M, age 82 of Dayton, passed away peacefully June 8, 2016. Beverly was born in Dayton to the late Bruce and Marie Holycross. She attended Julienne High School and then married James Richard Weng. Beverly worked and retired from St. Albert the Great Catholic School after many years as the physical education teacher. In addition to being a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, she was a member of the Dayton Amature Softball Commission and inducted into the State of Ohio Hall of Fame for Women's Fast Pitch Softball.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, James Weng; brother, Robert Holycross; sister, Diane (Holycross) Eckert; and grandson, Jay.

Beverly leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Richard (Amy) Weng and Robert "BJ" Weng; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Star, Courtney, Carley, and Riley; 15 great-grandchildren; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 13 at 1:30pm at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, where a visitation will take place from 12pm-1:30pm.
