Beverly Ann Lightner

Beverly Ann Lightner, age 65 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on October 25, 2020. She was born January 19, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Amatulli.

Beverly was a loving wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Beverly graduated from Carroll High School in 1973. Once graduated she continued her education at Sinclair Community College earning her Associates degree. Beverly then returned to Carroll High school and became the Guidance Administrator where she stayed there for 17 years. She enjoyed working for the High School and loved her students dearly. She was affectionately known there as Aunt Bev. Beverly was a devoted Catholic that attended Catholic School and Church her whole life. She enjoyed spending time with her close friends. Beverly will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Amatulli.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 25 years, Emerson "EJ" Lightner; son, Justin Lightner; step-sons, Christopher Lightner and Brian (Jamie) Lightner; grandchildren, Emma, Jessa, Ava, Jesse, Jade, and Jacob; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 2-4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton- Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio).

A Mass will take place on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (2300 Smithville Road, Dayton, Ohio 45420). Burial to follow after Mass.

Memorial Contributions can be made in Beverly's honor to Carroll High School.
