Beverly Carol Green

Beverly Carol Green was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 14, 1961 to the late Reverend Ellis Larry Green, Sr. and the late Edith (Thompson) Green. She was the sixth and youngest living child born to this union.

Beverly grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Walter White Elementary School and Northside High School. She completed high school in Texas and went on the attend Huston-Tillotson College, Austin College, and Texas Southern University. She was a double major in journalism and Spanish. Beverly worked for the Fort Worth Star-Telegramand in the Office of Public Relations at NASA in Houston. Beverly loved the arts and enjoyed singing, modern dance, playing the piano and was learning to play the guitar. She participated in beauty contests where dancing was her talent.

Beverly was preceded in death by a sister, Betty, and a brother, Ellis, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Dr. Barbara Layenette Green, two brothers, Don Clifton Green and Phillip Leon Green and his wife, Clarissa; two nephews, Phillip Green, II and Don Eric Mackey; three nieces, Christina Ann (Mackey) Clark, Monique Green and Donata Green; several greatnieces and nephews, a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 am at Hope United Methodist Church (5980 Wilmington Pike, Sugarcreek, OH 45459). Visitation will be from 9:30 am until time of service at the church.

Burial will be in West Memory Gardens.
