Burch, Beverly J. "Jane," age 82, formerly of Tampa, Florida, and Maggie Valley, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, April 30, 2022. Jane was born in Mulberry, Florida, on September 2, 1939, to the late Escotte Osline and Mildred Winifred (Moody) MacDonald. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Jeffery LeRoy Burch. Jane is survived by her husband James "Jim" LeRoy Burch III of Dayton, OH; her daughter Janna (John) Skalski of Dayton, OH; her daughter-in-law Laura Burch (Tony) Smith of Candler, NC; and her granddaughters Jennifer Skalski (Brent Snell) of Tipp City, OH, and Jessica Burch of Morrisville, NC.
Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother ("Mimi"), colleague, friend, and neighbor. She touched lives in every community she lived in up the east coast from Florida to Ohio. She was an active member of the choir at Lake Carroll Baptist Church (Tampa, FL) and Maggie United Methodist Church (Maggie Valley, NC). Jane was also active in LaSertoma in Tampa, working tirelessly to further awareness for cerebral palsy, and she was "Woman of the Year" 3 years running as a member of the Tampa Junior Women's Club. She was the "hostess with the mostest" who loved nothing more than entertaining her friends and family in her home. Jane will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
