Westendorf, Betty L. (Neff) 85 of Dayton passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2005. She was born on April 6, 1920 to the late Ora and Rhea Neff. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gene, son Roger, sisters Dorothy Madden and Margaret McCoy, brothers Robert, John, Roger and Bill Neff. She is survived by her children David (Charmaine), Janet (Emil) Kornfeind, daughter-in-law Margaret, Michael (Gayle), John (Judi) and Joan (Mick) Will. Grandchildren Brian and Kevin Westendorf, Benjamin Kornfeind, Holly Brisken, Dan and Brad Westendorf, Andy and Max Westendorf, Melissa, Matt and Kathy Will, two great-granddaughters Madeline and Julia Brisken, twin-sister Phyllis Persich, brother Dick (Cindy) Neff, Tom (JoAnn) Neff, sister-in-laws Helen Neff, Helen Nealon and brother-in-law Joseph Westendorf and Jerry (Pauline) Westendorf. Betty was a graduate of Stivers High School. She was a current member of St. Albert the Great Church and a former member of Holy Angels Church. Betty was everything anyone could wish for in a mother and grandmother. Many felt the warmth of her friendship and the comfort of her caring ways. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Albert the Great Church, 3303 Far Hills Ave. at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 4, 2005. The family will receive friends and visitors at 10:30 A.M. prior to the Mass with a celebration of her life to follow. Contributions may be made in her memory to, St. Vincent Hotel, 1133 S. Edwin C.
