Betty M. Smith

Betty M. Smith, age 79 of Centerville, passed away March 10, 2017. She was born August 13, 1937 in Pennington Gap, VA to the late James and Della Minton. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tamara Smith and 4 siblings.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith; grandchildren, David (Jamie) and Jason (Amy) Smith; 3 great-granddaughters, Aleiya, Madison and Gabriella; sisters, Carrie and Jean; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Betty worked and retired from GMAC/MIC after over 30 years of service.

Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin 10:30 AM. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
