Betty Ann Shank, age 89 of Xenia, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born January 13, 1934 in Alpha, Ohio the daughter of the late Harley and Fannie Moore.
Betty graduated from Beavercreek High School in the class of 1952. She retired from DESC, after working as the head secretary to the General. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and being a part of Country Blessings.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Don Shank; sister, June (Casey) Whalin; sister-in-law, Jane Moore; niece, Terri Bowermeister; and grand niece, Rachael Peacock.
Betty is survived by her brother, Ed Moore; nephews, Steve (Beth) Moore & Rick (Penny) Whalin; grand nieces, Elizabeth (Libby) Moore, Lauren (Travis) Whalin Brammer, Abbie (Rick) Whalin Sheets & Carrie Whalin; great grand nephews, Benson, Ellis and Wynn Brammer & Sullivan Sheets; and great grand niece, Charlotte Sheets.
Betty will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens next to her husband.
