Betty Saskowsky, age 79, of Miami Township, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Betty was born in Feds Creek, KY on July 22, 1935 to the late Carson & Sadie Blackburn.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Talbott.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James Saskowsky; children, Theresa (Kenneth) Weissman and Timothy (Birgit Andrich) Saskowsky; grandchildren, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Weissman, Kristopher (Lauren) Weissman, Lucas Saskowsky and James Saskowsky; one great-granddaughter on the way; sisters, Audrey Childress and Jean (Jessie) Woodard; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made in Betty's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
