Betty J. Sandridge

Betty Sandridge passed away on January 15, 2025. She was born February 17, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Eddie & Daisy (Baron) Carriker. Betty was one of 10 siblings. There were 3 brothers and 7 sisters in the Carriker family. She was the last remaining Carriker sibling as she was preceded in death by all of them. She was also preceded in death by her son, James Sandridge of San Diego, CA. 

She is survived by sons: Billy (Suzanne) Sandridge, Kevin Sandridge, Todd Sandridge, and daughter-in-law, Si Si Sandridge of San Diego, CA. Betty is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Angela Sandridge of San Diego, CA, Brooke Sandridge, and Nicholas Sandridge, as well as 4 great-grandchildren and many other extended family members.

The Sandridge family fondly remembers Betty with a cup of coffee and a Dayton Daily Newspaper by her side, which she read nearly every day. Betty was an avid University of Dayton basketball fan and enjoyed watching and discussing the games with her sons. 

Betty believed strongly in the value of family and taking care of each other. She was well-loved and will be greatly missed.

Betty will be laid to rest surrounded by immediate family members at West Memory Gardens in Moraine, Ohio.
