Betty S. Edwards, age 77 of Trotwood, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 22, 2012.
She was born March 23, 1935 in Buckhorn, KY to the late Clifton & Hazel Deaton.
Betty was preceded in death by the father of her children, Jefferson Dale Edwards; siblings, Alma Brewer, Danny Wayne Deaton, Christine Stacey and Anna Meadows.
She was survived by her children, Linda Edwards, Clifton Dale Edwards "Bubby", Larry Wayne Edwards, Jerry Ray Edwards, Jeffery Lynn Edwards and David Michael Edwards; grandchildren, Lisa, Michelle, Melissa, Andrew, Billy Ray, and Alec; 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter; siblings, David Deaton, Vesta (Beck) Wells, Louise Fugate, Clifton Deaton Jr., Mary Ritchie and Carol Watts; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 30, 2012 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to the Hospice of Dayton.
