Betty Ross

ROSS, Betty L. age 74, of Yellow Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital. She is survived by Raymond Lee, her husband of 33 years; children, Kathy (Randy) Crites of Moorefield, WV, Connie Spurlock of Fairborn, OH, Robin Wynn(David Trykoski) of Springboro, OH, Marshall Spurlock Sr. of Strawberry Plains, TN; step-children, Vicki (Larry) Schrul of Middletown, OH, Randy (Bonnie) Ross of Greenville, OH, Sandy (Mike) Hynes of Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Annette (Scott) McLaughlin of Morristown, TN, Angela (David) Bonin of Fairborn, OH, Justin and Tara Stacy of Kettering, OH, Marshall (Amanda), Matt, and Dillon Spurlock of Strawberry Plains, TN; step-grandchildren, Michael Hynes, Tony and Brandon Ross, Tyler and Justin Shrul all of Middletown, OH; 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; brothers, Arkie (Emma Sue) Williams of Beavercreek, OH, Archie (Lena) Williams of Fairborn, OH, and Russell Williams of Sommerset, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Manford and Flossie Williams; brother Raymond Williams; sisters, Georgia Humphreys, Helen Brooks, and Letha Williams; and step-daughter, Jerri Ross. The family would like to give special thanks to sister-in-law, Marie Williams; brother-in-laws, William Humphreys and Bear Brooks; and Jeannie Mattingly; the nurses of the pulmonary ward 3 west at Miami Valley Hospital; and Dr. Randall Fulcherio. Visitation will be 5-8PM Thursday (today) September 4, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Funeral services will be 10AM Friday, September 5, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery. Family and friends will gather afterwards at the Bath Township Hall at Fairfield-Yellow Springs Rd. in Fairborn.
