Betty Rector

RECTOR Betty E. 78 of Springfield; went home to be with the Lord Tues. 6/8/04 at Mercy Hospital. Betty resided at Greenlawn Village. She was retired from Security National Bank in Springfield. Betty was a faithful member of Lake Avenue Christian Church of New Carlisle, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry & Hazel Swart; her loving husband of 37 yrs., Virgil; 1 daughter, Patricia A. Botkin. Survivors include: 4 children, Sharon (Kenny) Sigler, Gale (Betty Lou) Callaway, Becky (Steve) Lanning & Brenda (Tim) Martin; 9 grandchildren, Ken, Shari, Mike, Lori, Heather, Erica, Anthony, Jessica & Shawn; 8 great grandchildren; 3 siblings, Ohmer (Jean) Swart, Wilma (Roland) Roethler, Wavel (Pat) Swart; numerous nieces & nephews; a host of other family and friends. Services will be held 10 am Saturday, 6/12/04 at Lake Avenue Christian Church 1101 W. Lake Ave. New Carlisle, OH. Family will receive visitors from 4-8 pm on Friday evening 6/11/04 at the church. Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pastor Randy Warner & her brother Ohmer will be officiating services. Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, Needmore Rd. In Betty's Memory, contributions may be made to Lake Avenue Christian Church Building Fund or Alzheimer's Association.
