Wood, Betty (Ridell), 88, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at MVH.
She was born March 9, 1928 in Winchester, KY and moved around until settling in Dayton in 1952. She was a Journeyman Operator at Dayton Press until it closed, and then worked at Van Dyne Crotty until her 2nd retirement.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David A. Wood; and her adopted son, Jimmy Ridell of S.E. Ohio. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Roland O. Martin (Pam) and James Martin (Joanna) of Rickman, TN. Betty has many nieces and nephews, including Melissa & Kenny Bowser, Angela & Tony Martin, Sherry Nichole, Scotty, Jim Martin Jr., and Carole Jean Lanza. She is also survived by her loving sister-in-law, Kathy Wood.
Betty will be sorely missed by all of us.
She was preceded in death by her beloved siblings, Roy Lee Martin and wife, John D. Martin, Shannon Joann Keaton, and Dorothy Pauline Johnson.
