Betty R. Holbrook

HOLBROOK, Betty R. (Shaffer) age 70 of West Carrollton, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Born November 21, 1935 in Wheelersburg, OH. She was the daughter of the late Robert L. Shaffer Sr. and Myrtle Sigman Shaffer. She was preceded in death by her sisters Katherine Sipos, Thelma Powell and Clarice Canter and her brother Bob Shaffer. She is survived by Robert "Bob" Holbrook, her loving husband of 54 years, her children Sandy (Matt) Baker, Deb (Bob) Burris, Keith (Anita) Holbrook, Steven (Lynn) Holbrook, Deanna (James) Roberts; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was devoted to her family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd., with Pastor Doug Surber officiating.
