Betty Ruth Purcell

Betty Ruth Purcell, age 84, of Xenia, passed away on March 29, 2023. She was born in Zwolle, Louisiana, on March 22, 1939, the daughter of the late Jeff D. Sepulvado and Gladys E. (Procell) Sepulvado.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dudley, Buddy, Arvin, Corrine, Annie and Irma.
She is survived by her loving sons, Billy (Paula) Martin and James (Jeanette Meadows) Martin; siblings, Johnny and Joseph Sepulvado; and many other loving family and friends.
Betty retired from the Irving Independent School System in Texas. She was a member of the Choctaw Tribe. In her free time, she enjoyed reading her Scripture, doing puzzles, going fishing and loving her furbabies, Shadow, Lacy and Rocky. Betty adored her family and everyone who met her instantly loved her. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was easy to be around. Even though she had an ornery streak, she also had a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Following Betty's wishes, there will not be services held at this time.
