Betty B. Peters, age 75 of Tipp City, passed away February 18, 2017. She was born March 30, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Walter and Alvina Buehler. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law: James and Maxine Buehler.
Betty is survived by her husband of 55 years, Thomas Peters; children: Jeff (Cheryl) Peters, Greg (Lynne) Peters, Debra (Roger) Hines and Christine Peters; grandchildren: Christopher (Chelsea), Heather (Rob), Paige, Tommy, Scott (Brittany), Jonathon, Roger II (Angie) and Colt (Ashley); great-grandchildren: Nora, Carson, Alex, Aiden, Kason, Kaitlynn, Kolton, Sophia, Konner and Haven; sister, Katherine (Danny) Donegan; brothers: John (Janet) Buehler and William (Kelly) Buehler; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Betty retired from General Motors after nearly 30 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City.
Visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Friday, February 24, 2017 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Road, Vandalia, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am. Father John Tonkin, Celebrant. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road.
