Betty Paton

PATON, Betty J., age 72, of Dayton, passed away Friday, January 27, 2006. She was born May 5, 1933 in Lexington, KY, the daughter of James and Minnie (McClanahan) Boots. Betty was President of the Convenant House Residence Association. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Michael Martin,Theresa (Teia) and Rick Ashbridge, and Kimberly and Robert Bertron; step-son, Jeffrey Andries; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Sara McKee, Laura Martin, Megan Martin, David Day, and Michael Colton; several great-grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, William Paton, Jr. and Richard Paton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paton; both parents; two granddaughters; one step-son. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.). A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
