Betty Jane Mcquown

Betty Jane McQuown, age 95 of Washington Township, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was born December 8, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ira and Amanda (Gangwolf) Zeller.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert LeRoy McQuown and infant son, Stephen Douglas McQuown.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Robert) Ditz, Sharon (Charles) Maqsud; two grandchildren, Amanda (Robert) Hartman, Elizabeth (Anthony) Walsh; two great-grandchildren, Marcus and Ava Walsh; sister, Martha Dimatteo; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Betty requests you vote before attending the visitation, which will be held on Election Day.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home- South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Private family graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
