Betty Mattis

MATTIS, Betty J. age 88 passed away July 26, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton.

She is preceded in death by husband, Joseph E. Mattis; one brother, and three sisters.

She is survived by son, Steve (Teresa) Cukovecki; daughter, Kerry (Perry) Trouberman; grandchildren, Teresa (Steve) Shinkle, Jody (Dusty) Turner, Stephen (Cindy) Cukovecki, Mindy (Thomas) Dyamond, and Tori Cukovecki; daughter-in-law, Vicki Cukovecki; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.

Her and her husband had a love for sprint car and Nascar Racing. She was a member of many organizations including the ABWA and most recently worked at JCPenney.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Dayton for their care and support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 1, 2011 at 10:00 am at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1440 N. Fairfield Rd. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – Beavercreek, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
