Betty Lyle

LYLE, Betty L., age 79, of West Carrollton and formerly of Kettering, passed away Thurs., Dec. 14, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Goldie Schwartz, 1 brother Freddie and 1 sister Mary. Betty is survived by her husband John, to whom she was married 59 years; 2 daughters Pam Winters and Sandy Schuck (Jim); 5 grandchildren Nicole (Ryan), Daniel, Michael (Amy), Leslie and Bryant; 2 great-grandsons Caden and Brycen; 1 sister Delores McKinzie; 1 brother David Schwartz and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired from Rike's Dept. Store in 1982 and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, V.F.W. Post 9927 Aux. and the American Legion Post 598. Funeral services 1 P.M., Wed., Dec. 20, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. Interment Beavertown Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 5 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be given to Hospice of Dayton in Betty's memory.
