Betty L. Whitt

Betty L. Whitt, age 94 of Kettering, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born January 21, 1921 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of George and Mary Elsner.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wales Whitt; a son, Gary Whitt; 2 brothers, Charles and Bill Elsner; 2 sisters; Irene Elsner and Norma Fitzwater, daughter-in-law, Darlene Foreman, son-in-law, Ray Schroyer; and a grandson, Ryan Parks

Betty is survived by her six children, Darla (Leo) August, Lorna (Billy) Kelly, Sherry Schroyer, Donna (Mark) Parks, Greg Whitt, and Norma Kiger; eight grandchildren, Amy (Eric), Brandy (Brad), David (Sarah), Daniel (Tia), Lindsey, Josh (Ida), Justin, and Mindy; seventeen great grandchildren, Cllista, Brianna, James, Cassidy, Kaylee, Nicholas, Noah, Dawson, Russell, Brooke, Hannah, Matthew, Andrew, Emma, Matthew, Chelsea, and Allyssa. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).
