Betty L. Shade, age 86 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 15, 1928 in Dayton to the late Charles O. Farris, Sr. and Helen Marie (Doty) Farris-Lutz. Betty was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Mills; her second husband, James Shade; siblings, Clark Farris, James Farris, Samuel Lutz and David Lutz.
She is survived by her brother, Charles O. (Shirley) Farris, Jr.; step-son, Pastor Rodney (Beth Ann) Shade and step-daughter-in-law, Virginia Mills.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
