Betty L. Kelly

Betty L. Kelly, age 72, of Fairborn, passed away on the 24th anniversary of her beloved husband's passing, September 8, 2012. She was born on March 28, 1940 in Elliott County, KY to the late Roy and Jewell Barker. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Kelly; two brothers, Harmon and Robert Barker; sister, Nina Whitt; and great grandson, Kayelub Lemaster.

Betty is survived by her five children, Tony Kelly and Tim Kelly, both of Cedarville, OH Sherry (Debbie) Garrison, of Dayton, OH, Cynthia (Ted) Smith of Fairborn, OH, and Deletha Stevens, of Cedarville, OH; eight grandchildren, Shawn, Shauna, Shane, Bettina, David Jr., Johnny, Jered and Laceie; and nine great grandchildren, Ireti, Hunter, Makayla, Jorge, Jr., Nicolas, Kolt, Elizabeth, David III., and Kianna; sister, Faye Carter; brother, Ray Barker; and other family members and good friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Crossroads Hospice for the care they provided to their Mother.

A funeral service will be held on Friday September 14, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior from 11:30 am-1:30 pm. Burial will take place at Byron Cemetery.
