Betty L. Collins, age 81 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 14, 2021. She was born August 17, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late John and Mary "Ruth" Sark.
Betty was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Betty was a member of TOPS and was a former Girl Scout Leader of Girl Scouts of America. She was an avid crafter and owner of All Seasons House of Crafts. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Clyde Collins Sr.; grandson, Travis Collins; and brother, Rick Sark.
Betty is survived by her children, Clyde (Debbie) Collins Jr., John Collins, Lisa Collins, and Kimberly Collins; grandchildren, Jacob Collins, Melinda (David) Hatton, and John (Natalie) Collins; several great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Lee, Sherry Hageman, and Cathy (Jimmy) Welch; brothers, Bill (Diane) Sark, John "Jack" (Judy) Sark, and Gary Sark; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10am to 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A graveside service will follow at 11:30am at Valley View Memorial Gardens ( 170 N. Valley Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385).
