Betty J. King, age 97, of Dayton, passed away on July 18, 2022. She was born on April 22, 1925 to the late Clarence and Pearl Lutz.
She was an avid bowler, and she loved to go bowling with her friends. She worked as a secretary at King's Transfer Inc. for over 40 years. She loved to feed the birds in her yard and watch them. She also loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Robert J. King; and her five siblings.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: April (Eugene) Hendershot, Robert K. (Robin) King, and Fred M. King; grandchildren: Julie (Andy) Esch, Brandy King, Brett (Nicoletta) King, Nicole (Tony) Jadwin, and John M. King; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Betty will be laid to rest with her husband, Robert, at Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
