Betty Jo Shaw

SHAW, Betty Jo, age 61, of Beavercreek, went to meet her Lord and Savior Monday, January 5, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Alma Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Jerry; daughter, Lisa and husband Steve Geisel; daughter, Lindy and husband Jerry Shumaker; son, Jeffery and wife Brandy Shaw; grandchildren, Stephanie, Chelsea, and Sydney Geisel, Abby and April Shumaker, and Caleb Shaw; sisters, Barbara Graves and Alma Powell; and numerous other relatives and friends. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Temple. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was very involved in her children and grandchildren's lives. She will be deeply missed and we love her. Rest in heaven. Visitation will be 5-8PM Friday, January 9, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the funeral home.
