Betty Jeffers
April 28, 1930 — February 19, 2014
JEFFERS (nee Webb), Betty, age 83, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Henry Joe Jeffers.
Betty is survived by her children, Nancy Jeffers, Joyce (Gary) Paquette, Joe Ed Jeffers, Steve (Patti) Jeffers, Cinde Mustaine, Marilyn (Bryon) Friend; grandchildren, Valerie, Matthew, Patricia, Erin (deceased), Amberly, Eric, Sarah, Stephanie, Ryan, Charlie, Joey, and Lynden, as well as 8 great grandchildren.
She was a professional seamstress and she could find a 4 leaf clover in the desert. She enjoyed bowling and singing in the church choir. She also swung a mean wooden spoon. Everybody knew her as "Mom". The family would to thank all the staff of Hearth and Home.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where a memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 31 W. Whipp Rd., Dayton, OH 45459.
