Betty Jean Ghee

Ghee, Betty Jean, age 87, of Brookville, formerly of Indian Lake and of Dayton, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at her home. She was born June 1, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Walter E. & D. Isabel (DeWitt) Newman. Betty retired from Delco after 36 years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Robinson, second husband, L. Wayne Ghee; sister Alice Martin; and her brother, Paul Newman. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Marcia Newman; nephews, Phillip Shuey and Jeff Newman; niece Jacaline Burton; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital or the charity of your choice.
